Enhancing Dr. App Onboarding
During my Sr. UX /UI design tenure with zeuron.ai, I redesigned the onboarding process for the Dr. Physio app. The goal was to improve user retention and satisfaction by creating a more intuitive and engaging onboarding experience. FitLife is a fitness tracking app that helps users monitor their activities and progress.
Role: UX & UI design
Tools: Figma, Anima, Spline
Team: 1 product designer, a developer, a data scientist, a physiotherapist therapist, a Neuro Scientist and a UX researcher
Timeline: 4 months (January 2023 - April 2023)
PROBLEM STATEMENT
The problem
The existing patient onboarding process in therapy centres was confusing and cumbersome, leading to mistakes, incomplete information, using physical forms and also to user frustration. Users struggled to navigate the app, understand its features, and set up their profiles, which negatively impacted patient data management and overall workflow of the management .

Note Taking
The existing patient onboarding process is currently managed by the head therapist using a manual note-taking method, with records kept in physical files. This approach results in low accessibility, frequent information gaps, and challenges in retrieving patient data efficiently.

Handoff communication
Handoff communication lacks effective documentation, making it difficult to manage patient data, track progress, and share details with off-site doctors. Manual handling leads to information gaps and inefficiencies.

Progress note
-
Time-Consuming: Detailed documentation slows onboarding.
-
Incomplete Overview: Misses holistic patient details.
-
Poor Accessibility: Difficult to access and share information.
